As a nonprofit organization based in the U.S., TED holds presentations by bringing together people from fields of Technology, Entertainment and Design. TED Conference is devoted to "Ideas Worth Spreading". By focusing and analyzing TED presentations, we seek "how to deliver inspiring presentations".
A presentation only becomes a true presentation when the audience sympathizes with the speaker and mutual communication is formed. But there are occasions when the audience is not moved despite excellent contents. Then, we need to consider whether the speaker was a "storyteller" during the session. Even with some lack of speech skills, a vivid story will always work with the audience. The seventh rule, "how to compose a story". touches upon this issue.
